...punctual collaborations... in the dance world...

    ...as a dancer

    Desandar
    Lara Navarro Ruiz
    2013

"Renounce. Allow for what is yours and what is not, abandons you. And then, when you think that you are lost, that there is nothing left, let go of the last things to which you attach yourself. You will then know who you are. Renouncing can be a painful way of discovering your own identity, but a sure one. And know that if you do not make it, if you do not let the tide grow high, take that which clings and clean the footprints, you will never experience a true union."

    Synchronicité Urbaine
    Stéphanie Bardin
    2009

"To collectively reclaim the public space through the body in motion. Synchronicity is the coincidence in time of two events, or more, bound by the sense and not by the cause. According to David Bohm, "we cling to a large extent to the manifest world considered as the fundamental reality where important is to have separate units, relatively at least, but interacting. In the non-manifest reality everything interpenetrates, everything is connected"."

    Fuero(n)
    Association Inesperada - Germana Civera
    2008

"A core of performers, aged 10 to 70, which involves the otherness between past and present, between memory and action where one wonders about the body evolution over time and the tendency of our society to separate individuals based on appearance, age, interests ... The particularity and the intention is twofold: to offer a contemporary artistic work and contribute to awareness of the audience towards the practice, creation and history of contemporary dance."

    Movimiento en Entrevidas
with Anna Maria Maiolino's art installation
    2010

"In Maiolino's work we find many topics that intersect, different motives that use everyday gestures, life drive, sustenance, abjection, fusion with the other, social body, affective topology, body as a place to claim the existence, difference and repetition, construction of relational subjectivity, etc. Danced performance interacting with her piece Entrevidas, as part of the first European retrospective on the Brazilian artist."

    MinEvents
    by Merce Cunningham Dance Company
    2009

"The MiniEvents are a series of choreographed movements created from new choreographies, sections and complete pieces of the repertoire of Merce Cunningham. Thought to be presented in unconventional spaces, these events establish a dialogue with the space in which they are presented and, therefore, include an element of improvisation. These activities are carried out as part of the retrospective on John Cage, his faithful collaborator."

    Le Bal de la Mercé
    directed by Rosas company
    2007

"Every September 24th, Barcelona celebrates the virgin Mare de Déu de la Mercé, patron of the district of the city, by a set of cultural and folkloric events taking place in a relatively unchanging ritual. Each year we find the pregó, the correfocs, the castells, the dance of Catalonia's giants, as well as numerous concerts, exhibitions and open doors. In 2007, the great and legendary popular dance was directed and animated by the company Rosas and its collaborators."

    La Vie de Camille Claudel
    compagnie Contrastes - Danielle Muselet
    2006

"Neoclassical piece, developing a research on aesthetics and the sculptural characteristic of bodies in motion. The central axis is inspired by the works and life of Camille Claudel, and more broadly with those of his master and companion Auguste Rodin, who said of her: "I showed her gold, but the gold she finds is really hers". In the portrait of the artist, inspiration is to capture the experience of a simple gesture, in the intensity and density of the escaping moment."

    ...as an assistant, or other

    Torobaka
    Israel Galván et Akram Khan
    as a... production assistant
    2014

"Grandiose journey to the heart of secular traditions that activates a fantasy filled with movements as intrepid as virtuous, Israel Galván and Akram Khan meet through dance. Each of them, in a parallel track that crosses in filigree the route to India, brought his art to the summit: the Katak for one, the Flamenco for the other. The similarities between the two are obvious: ground strikes, circular arm movements, essential and direct interaction with the musicians."

    DCODE
    Dies De Dansa
    as a... productor (and dancer-choreographer)
    2010
    Synchronicity
    Carolyn Carlson
    as a... artistic director and
    technical assistant for the video
    2012

"Essential piece, an expression of sensible and enlightened perception of those events that disrupt the course of life, vital aspirations that inspire us, inner quest. Inspired by Jung, she explores the meaning of these strange coincidences that echo in oneself with a particular sharpness. A clock that stops at the death of a beloved father. An encounter that changes destiny. Meet a loved one by a happening that seems incredible. These situations occur at the time of intense emotions, singular circumstances, turning points."
