...après la longue traversée, Boston and its new musical invader...
One month after letting Vancouver behind… So many stories in between, so many people met… What a wonderful trip. I want to cross back Canada one day! In the other way with the train, or by car, or just in autostop… Too many things to see, to many amazing people everywhere… And now in Boston, with some old friend from the other side of the ocean. Life is so surprising!
A resume of the crossing way of this huge country will be definitely so poor comparably to what it was, but I can’t not make it…. with the good feeling that anyway, the dance-video-themes are staying here somewhere to be an evidence of all of that. 5 days of train, with all that could be include on those 4 words notions … … … ; a break stop of 3 days on the middle of the Rockies mountains, with strange meetings and beautiful adventures (argh!… is the theme of the 2 of april will reappear one day?!); one week in Toronto, the more United States’ city of Canada, coming back to the music and dance civilisation…; one day becoming one week in Niagara, where a dreamland just became real for a while, in the other best place of Couchsurfing I never found (work, nocturne visit, dance, endless talk, good food, non-stop music, steam bath, crazy adventures, borders dangers… all of that with a wonderful company, in the house of "Bruce Wayne”… Nolan… if you could be Batman by night sometimes, this world would probably goes way much better!), one week in Montreal, dancing a lot, listening good crazy music, meeting fantastic people… feeling like home…; 2 absurds days in Quebec, wonderful city, crappy weather, and this kind of day that everything happen to you… …before heading to Montreal again to take a bus to Boston (new absurd adventure!)…
Nearly arrived to Boston, late after the impossible crossing boarders, running to a cab (bad idea on the rush hours!) trying to get as soon as possible to Toni’s place and then to the “fare away" Berklee School… And now let’s face the music and dance!!!!… Voodoo Children’s Bid Band huge mondial release, hehe! I feel so honoured that my great friend and better musician and composer, Toni Vaquer, invite me to share that with them… 17 musicians form all over, met here in Boston few month ago, and one dancer, from nowhere and passing by there at this moment… Amazing music, arrange by this Crazy-Genius (yeah, Toni again!), who just arrive 4 month ago on this side of the ocean and decide to keep going for huge project over there, building is own big ensemble with his themes and arrangements.
Finally the surprising week in Boston, moving around for the music, begins with this great gig, opened by an theme of Rage Against the Machine to be finished with some of the emblematic Suites, and keeps going with a lot of great surprises and stories headed principally in this astonishing district of the city (as big as a city in itself) where swarm thousand of musicians from everywhere…Enriching experiences!
