… this island will never end to surprise me (I really hope at least!)… What’s not beautiful is amazing, what’s not amazing is surprising, what’s not surprising is wonderful… and I could keep going. This small island in the middle of nowhere; this piece of earth made by oceans; this place partly european, partly american; this meeting of the four elements in a natural estate; this weird balance between moon and sun… enough big to be one, enough small to be unique… enough dessert to not be systematically corrupted, enough crowed to be artistically civilised… with an enough difficult context to be aware, with enough ressources to could always be into confort… I already have written severals times about my Icelandic adventures, and I could write so much more… basically a lot could be resume into this constant feeling of being surprised, and being able to could be surprised! This month, new wonderfully adventures were (and are!) waiting for me! To begin, the reopening of the theatre… crazy week, wonderful moments… hard work, beautiful results. Tjarnarbíó is on the good way to be one of the best theatre around! So happy to be part of all this story and to have put energy and time on this adventure. New auditorium, new curtains, new robots, new technical table, new organisation of the material… big and good changes… Everything is going according to the plans… as slowly as we thought, but as good as we hope! Let’s keep going in this way!… and looking forward to adjust the last stuffs, see new shows and concert into this wonderful theatre and eat and drink around artistic event into this marvellous cafe-restaurant. Amazing team, wonderful project… let’s never stop! (until it will be “finished" and we will probably all leave then!) Looking forward the new adventure with Lokal and Reykjavík Dance Festival at the end of the month too!… but that will be for another stop-in-time-and-space-written-moment! For this time, to keep going into the surprising “new" stuffs… in between the huge among of work, I had two new adventures in Iceland, as wonderful one that the other. Oh, and by the way, before that, I finally make discover to Icelanders this weird dancing stuffs with live music… now I need to do it again, again and again… and with more freedom! Hurra will suffer this revolution! So, to come back to those 2 new adventures… I will not spend a long on it, it’s something you have to live, not read about it!… but definitively, I’m really happy I could swim into the Icelandic “sea" before dying! And this Icelandic sea-swimming competition happening “coincidently" at the same time was just increasing the absurd point of this evening. And few days later, being horse riding around the Icelandic countryside and its naturals parcs all over, with Icelanders, in their amazing cottage and so authentic farm… just another dream made true! I will always be thankful to all the people who made me lived amazing stuffs in my live, and basically to the life itself… This time in concret, I feel I really should thanks (again and again) Iceland and its beautiful people who make it unique!… I feel really honoured to could be part of this team in a way or another!
